The NCBA AFAWA WSMEs Acceleration Program – Cohort 2 is officially underway, reinforcing AGF’s commitment to strengthening SME capacity for sustainable growth.
The program, driven by the SME Support Centre and delivered through the partnership of NCBA Group, African Guarantee Fund (AGF), and Unga Group PLC under the broader backing of AFAWA has successfully completed its first module with a dynamic cohort of 39 women-owned SMEs.
This four-month acceleration journey is designed to equip women entrepreneurs with practical skills, strategic insights, and peer-learning opportunities that enhance business resilience and scalability.
Module One set a strong foundation by focusing on sustainable growth, collaboration, and clearer business direction. More importantly, it contributed to building the capacity of participants to better structure, manage, and position their enterprises for financing and long-term success.
Through such partnerships, AGF continues to amplify its impact beyond access to finance empowering SMEs with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively utilise funding and drive inclusive economic growth.
