Ali BALLO

Ali is a seasoned Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and Audit professional with 15 years’ experience across multiple sectors and African markets. At AGF since 2017, Ali oversees the Group’s Internal Audit and Compliance functions, serves as Secretary to the Board’s Audit & Risk Committee, and has driven major enhancements to the institution’s internal control, compliance and operational frameworks. His earlier roles at Deloitte and Ernst & Young strengthened his audit and advisory expertise across diverse industries. A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Compliance Professional (FICA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), he holds an MSc from ESCA Business School and a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in GRC from the International Compliance Association (ICA) and Alliance Manchester Business School. He is fluent in French and English.
